Biographical Note
After earning his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University in 1912, Edward Aloysius Jerome O'Connor practiced as an architect in New York City, both independently and in the offices of architectural firms. In 1941, he moved to Washington, D.C., to perform war-related government work, including work on the Pentagon. After the war, O'Connor remained in Washington, D.C., where he worked independently until his death in 1977. The majority of his extant drawings are represented in the O'Connor Architectural Drawing Archive (Library of Congress).
