The interview includes James Cameron's account of his attempted lynching in Indiana at age 16 and later conviction of accessory to murder. He discusses how this led to his involvement in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the civil rights movement in Indiana and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
