This tape is a compilation of recordings made on disc by Linscott. While the tape is dated January 20, 1974, the recordings date from the 1940s. The tape was made by Peter Fagley. The first 8 tracks were made by Linscott of herself singing and playing Native American songs, possibly during a lecture (she can be heard addressing children). Instrumental accompaniment on some tracks, including piano, drums, and rattles. Several songs have spoken-word introductions.

Clare Cassidy interviews Eloise Hubbard Linscott for the radio show, "Folk Festival." The interview was originally broadcast on January 16, 1955. Included are selections from various recordings gathered by Linscott. Selections from recordings Linscott made are included in the show: “Lullaby” (Needahbeh), “I Have a Little Drum” and “Precept and Line” (The Shaker Singers), “Old Zip Coon (Turkey in the Straw)” (Edson Cole), “Maid of the Mountain Brow” (Sam Young), “Ryo Grande” (Bourne Male Quartet and Chorus; solo by William J. (Jack) Sherrard sings the solo), and “Go In and Out the Windows” (Eloise Hubbard Linscott).
