| The Fotoware plate was created as a souvenir of the coal fields. Vachel Davis painted the portrait of a miner, which appears on the plate's central area. The painting was copyrighted in 1947. The plate was broken and repaired before arriving as part of the Korson collection at AFC. | |||||||||||||
