John Gallagher, recorded on his porch, in Saltville, Virginia. John and Jimmy Gallagher's mother was Hobart Smith's father's sister. A note on the tape box back near John's name: "2 from Blind Lemon in 1917." A note by the song K.C. Whiste [?]: "Hob 'He doesn't play that right.'" A note by Worried Blues names Jimmy (possibly the performer) as Fred's son.
