Materials relating to Cohen's relationship with and films about Roscoe Holcomb, including correspondence, transcriptions, ephemera, posters, contracts and prints. Correspondence and materials regarding the album, Mountain Music of Kentucky, and the film, Roscoe Holcomb: From Daisy, Kentucky. Includes materials relating to the New Lost City Ramblers, including posters and fliers, photographs, correspondence, contracts, notes, drafts of liner notes, festival programs, newspaper clippings, and magazine articles. Materials reflect the New Lost City Ramblers' touring and recorded work. Also included are the Putnam String County Band posters and materials relating to the Friends of Old Time Music. Other items in the subseries include the New Tranquility String Band recording project, the Banjo Bill Cornett recording project, as well as Willie Dixon sheet music.
