An essay on the history and background of folk culture in Kentucky and the importance of maintaining that heritage. Two copies; one is from a folder of unsorted materials received as part of a later accrual. Copies of the roster for the Christmas country dance school, Berea College, Berea, Kentucky; names and addresses of the policy committee, staff, members, and others. Materials received as their own group: promotional flyer for Sanderson Museum and a photocopied newspaper clipping about the museum, two participant tickets for the 24th National Folk Festival (1960), and a Sanderson Museum postcard to Knott from Jon [?].
