The photographic materials are listed in approximately the order in which they are housed within each folder. This series was processed by Carl Fleischhauer. Photo titles/captions were developed by Carl Fleischhauer and Marcia Segal, based on available information. Three photos are historic in nature, and believed to have been provided to Halpert by the informants. All others are the result of Halpert's own fieldwork.
