Two sheets, each 14 1/2 by 10 inches, pasted to an illustration board, 15 1/4x20 inches. Each sheet contains images of children in a classroom ; some images show Tony Schwartz at the front of the class with two tape recorders interacting with the children. A block of printed text with the heading "Learning to Listen" explains that the children are first and third graders in New York Public School 191 (Amsterdam School, Manhattan), who were photographed by Mal Wittman while listening to recordings of "the sounds of life around them." They also recorded and listened to their own voices.

This subseries of published audiovisual works by Tony Schwartz includes material on such projects as Guerrilla Media, Children and God, If You Know Someone Who Smokes, and various albums published by the Folkways label. The material includes correspondence, research, and promotional material, information on royalties, scripts, interviews and reviews.
