Series II. Merry Men of the
Marines
|
|
The Halls of Montezuma Orchestra was organized in or around 1942 and performed
stateside before the members, as fighting Marines, shipped out to the South
Pacific. Overseas, they formed other groups including The Merry Men of the
Marines, Four Marines, The Singing Invaders and The Head Hunters. They performed
in the field, at hospitals, and for the top brass. |
