The Programs subseries contains the records of the Fair Employment Project, the Friend to Friend Mentor Program, the NAACP Adoptive Parent Recruitment and Education Project, Operation Fair Share, Prison Project, and Voter Empowerment Program. The bulk of material documents the Friend to Friend Mentor Program, which was aimed at juveniles involved in the criminal justice system in Georgia, and the Voter Empowerment Project initiated in advance of the 2000 presidential election.
Material types include memoranda, correspondence, mailing lists, agreements, financial records, press releases, itineraries, directories, presentations, and agendas in both physical and digital formats. Notes, news clippings, and printed matter are in physical formats. Photographs are in digital formats.
