Included are book drafts; a copy of her dissertation on Haiti; file copies of articles, papers, reviews, and other short works; letters from the field; an index of Redbook columns by Mead and Métraux; poetry written by Métraux largely during the 1940s; and essays, plays, and a short story written by her while a student at Vassar College in the 1930s. Also included is a history of her life written at the request of Margaret Mead.
