Rixey, surgeon general, covering the period from September, 1900 to July, 1901, when he attended President and Mrs. McKinley; and a volume of letters, memoranda, and speeches by prominent men (1936-1943) most of which were printed in Charles U. Gordon (compiler), William McKinley Commemorative Tributes (1942).
