		Primarily the files of Virginia H. Mathews documenting her work as Director of the National Book Committee, in particular her work administering National Library Week and other related conferences, multi-year projects, and publications. Materials include correspondence, book lists, scrapbooks, planning documents, teaching materials, and writings.
