The Digital Files series documents many of the Washington
Post’s public relations activities, including videos and photographs of
events, awards, and staff celebrations. These largely consist of videos and
photographs of the Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Awards, Distinguished
Educational Leadership Awards, Eugene Meyer Awards, Marine Corps Marathon Healthy
Kids' Fun Run, “Paths to Success: A Forum on African-American Men,” and other
Washington Post sponsored events. Commercials and
videotaped features from news outlets after Mark Felt was revealed to be “Deep
Throat” are also within the series. Staff members featured in videos include Agnes
E. Meyer, Eugene Meyer, Katharine Graham, Herbert Block, and Boisfeuillet Jones.
The digital files do not include any documentation of Washington Post web content. Material types include: video files, audio files, photographs, spreadsheets, textual documents, and presentations. |
