The Age of Turbulence series contains the drafts and notes from Alan Greenspan's autobiography. Published in 2007, the book spans Greenspan's life and career and also offers his insight on the future of the United States and global economy. The series contains primarily drafts and edits made both by chapter and chronologically. Greenspan received assistance in writing The Age of Turbulence from his collaborator Peter Petre, who fact-checked, advised, and edited the book. Petre also conducted interviews with Greenspan and his wife, Andrea Mitchell. Petre's contributions are reflected in the collaborator files in this series. Additional material in this series includes administrative files involving the publication of The Age of Turbulence, subject files used as reference, and publicity following the book's publication.
