DF Digital Backups, 1980-2010
The Digital Backups series comprises various files and directories copied mainly from Blackburn's computers, although they also include those of her assistant, Maura Clancy, and computers used by fellows and others working in Blackburn's laboratory. The Backup Folders relate to her teaching and research endeavors as a professor at the University of California, Berkeley and as a professor and department chair at the University of California, San Francisco. The files include correspondence, PowerPoint presentations for speeches, abstracts and drafts of articles, reviews of articles for journals, grant proposals and related material, teaching files, and administrative files documenting Blackburn's activities as a professor and department chair.

Material types are digital files comprised of correspondence, memoranda, lecture notes, PowerPoint presentations, abstracts of articles, reviews of articles, drafts of articles and other writings, grant files, teaching files, biographical material, curriculum vitae, photographs, charts, and visual materials.
Listed by digital ID number, with the file structure of the digital content maintained as received.

BOX OV 1-OV 47 Autoradiograph Film, 1983-2004
The Autoradiograph Film series comprises chiefly x-ray films that complement several of the notebooks in the Laboratory Notebooks series. Files of three collaborators, Marita Cohn, David Gilley, and Michael J. McEachern, consist only of autoradiograph films with no corresponding notebooks. Many of the films are annotated and have notes affixed to them.

Material types include x-ray films and notes.
Arranged chronologically according to the laboratory notebooks of collaborator to which they relate.
