The Unpublished Works series contains drafts of unpublished poetry and prose and
correspondence related to publication. This series primarily consists of drafts
and material relating to Hoffman’s unpublished memoir, “Lives of the Poets.” Some
drafts of the memoir are in digital format as word-processed documents. Also
included is poetry and prose written by Hoffman as a student, and drafts of “With
Walt Whitman in Russia” and related material.
Material types include correspondence, notes, manuscripts and photographs. |
