This subseries contains a variety of publications related to instruction and
training to perform in or lead bands and singing groups, provide entertainment
to service members, and acquire music and recordings for use in camps. Also
included are examples of songbooks and sheet music that were made available to
military personnel, compendia of skits and sketches generated by the United
Services Organization (USO) for use in camp shows and "Army Hit Kits" to be
used in sing-alongs, and drafts of songbooks. |
