the words "Library of Congress," by S. Satin. Satin's inscription, from 23
March 1959, continues: "The Museum of Music [in Moscow] sent 3 times men to
measure / the desk, but never took it from Steinway. Finally, the family
gave / the desk to the L. C. archive." |
