BOX 25-28 Katherine Dunham Legacy Project, 1987-2005
The Doris Duke Charitable Trust funded the Library of Congress to undertake activities to coordinate the preservation of significant Katherine Dunham records and create an access plan. This series contains the records of planning the project, the proposal and funding records of the DDCT grant, and the preservation activities. Items include inventories of audio and video recordings, indexes to Dunham holdings at other repositories such as Southern Illinois University and the Dunham Museum, and conservation assessments, as well as the video documentation project on Dunham Technique, among many other materials.
