BOX 1-39, 67-70, 75-76 | Music | ||||||||||||
The Music is divided into two subseries. The Orchestra Library consists of arrangements made for Raitt’s concerts and recorded albums. The extent for these full scores and parts vary for each title, and many are annotated with performance markings. The arranger’s name is included whenever known. Sheet Music that has been annotated by Raitt has been retained and comprises the second subseries. Annotations may include performance markings, key changes, or manuscript inserts for alternate music. Music can also be found in the Scripts series, as vocal books were sometimes published as part of the script. Raitt also kept many of his scripts accompanied by piano-vocal scores and these were kept together to respect his original order. |
