This subseries documents the business side of Stevens's producing activities through material from some twenty different production enterprises with which he was involved. These range from decades-long enterprises, such as the American National Theatre and Academy, to short-term play-producing entities, such as Roger L. Stevens and Joel Schenker Productions, that lasted just long enough to mount one play. Materials consist of bills, contracts and agreements, correspondence, financial reports, incorporation and dissolution papers, meeting minutes, programs, salary lists, reports, and tax records.
