Artwork, 1917-2002
This subseries consists of pencil, colored pencil, and pen drawings, as well as watercolor and oil paintings, that George and Ira Gershwin created primarily during the 1930s. Subjects include Kay Swift, Leonore Gershwin, and Woodrow Wilson, other unidentified persons, and one still life. It contains a pencil drawing of George by Vernon Duke and several unidentified works.
