This series contains works by other composers that John Philip Sousa either arranged or transcribed. The genres covered include popular songs and dances, selections from operas and operettas, and classical and romantic works. The materials are primarily holograph full scores for band, though there are also holograph full scores for orchestra and photocopies of parts. Of particular note are Sousa's arrangements of Arthur Sullivan's operettas HMS Pinafore, Iolanthe, The Pirates of Penzance, and The Sorcerer.
