Pearl Bailey Show, 1970-1971 | |||||||||||||
Some music titles bear the designation "Pearl Bailey Show," which refers both
to Bailey's 1971 television program and to individual stage shows in clubs and
other venues. A handwritten inventory created when the music was shipped to the
Library of Congress and a contemporaneous set list for each of the fifteen
episodes of the television program served as the master lists when determining
which songs were used in the television program. The set lists are located in
Box 107 and included as Appendix B
to this finding aid. The handwritten inventory is included as Appendix
C. All other titles designated as Pearl Bailey Show are included in the Songs by Title subseries with Pearl Bailey Show noted. Materials consist of lead sheets, lyric sheets, scores, set lists, parts, and vocal scores (both manuscript and printed) |
