This series documents Pearl Bailey's seven years as a student at Georgetown
University through her course notes, class assignments, and selected annotated
textbooks. For many of the assignments both Bailey's handwritten drafts and the
submitted paper are present. Photographs document her campus experiences as well
as commencement events. The scrapbooks contain congratulatory correspondence from
Bailey's friends and admirers. Materials include annotated books, correspondence, course notebooks and assignments, photographs, programs, and scrapbooks. |
