These materials were compiled by Peter Coan for the purpose of writing Harry
Chapin's biography, Taxi: The Harry Chapin Story. There are interviews with Chapin and other notable individuals, such as
Bill Ayers, Pete Seeger, Tom Snyder, and Chapin family members; articles; and
clippings relating to Harry Chapin. Also included are published copies of the
biography, Coan's fan mail, and drafts of the biography's epilogue. |
