More than 1,900 designs in color and black and white representing more than 160
productions in thirteen cities. The majority of the designs were drawn for
presentations in New York, New York. Approximately 60 designers, many of whom
signed their work, executed the drawings which range from rough sketches to
detailed conceptions on scraps of paper, tracing paper, cardboard, and board.
Actors' measurements and fabric swatches accompany some designs. Drawings of
stage properties are also included. |
