Photographs of guests, panelists, and host/moderator Lawrence Spivak and
moderators Martha Rountree and Ned Brooks, and the television audience on
the set of the public affairs television series Keep
Posted. Guests on the program debated opposing sides of an issue
with questions from the panel of journalists and sometimes the audience. The
set featured a large graphic depicting the cover of Saturday Evening Post. Guests included mostly national leaders,
members of Congress, and government officials such as Richard Nixon, W.
Averell Harriman, Clare Boothe Luce, and John F. Kennedy. Topics of the
program included presidential elections, Communism, the Cold War, national
defense, and foreign policy. |
