    The Harold Benjamin Graham collection documents Graham's United States Army service from 1917-1920. Harold Benjamin Graham was born on July 7, 1899, in Spring Valley, New York. In 1917 he enlisted in the United States Army and served with the 147th Aero Squadron at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York and at Kelly Field, San Antonio, Texas. He was discharged in 1920 and died in 1948. Spanning 1917-2012, collection includes correspondence from Graham, his mother, and other family members.

    Summary:

    William Sylvanus Morris was born on May 5, 1888, in Lynchburg, Virginia. He served in the United States Army, 1917-1919, with the Headquarters Lines of Communication, American Expeditionary Force, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota; Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Paris, France and Bordeaux, France. The veteran served as a camp engineer and camp commander. He worked in a water supply department and designed water systems for camps, hospitals and training centers throughout France. He also oversaw the construction of a large hospital facility. In 1919, he was discharged as a First Lieutenant. Morris died in 1947.
