Scope and Content Note
This series contains documentation on Bronislava Nijinska's career as a dance teacher in Europe and the United States. Materials include advertisements for her studios, photographs of classes, student records, and Nijinska's lesson plans. An early textbook from Nijinska's time at the Imperial Theater School is also found here, as are her original writings and translations for her treatise on dance, "On Movement and the School of Movement." Additional writings and lesson plans may be found in Diaries and Notebooks.
