Scope and Content Note

This series contains choreographic notes, diaries, lesson plans, letters, memoir drafts, notes, and any other writing by Bronislava Nijinska. Nijinska wrote predominantly in Russian and sometimes French and Polish. This series also includes translations in English by Irina Nijinska, as well as her notes on her mother's writings. Translations and summaries of selected works are available in appendices noted within each subseries.
