Papers and research files of American diplomat Donald L. Atwell, who authored a dissertation on East Pakistan (Bangladesh). Atwell received a doctorate in geography from Clark University.
Wallace Atwood Jr. map collection.
Wallace served in the Army as director of the topographic model section of the Army Map Service during World War II. The collection consists of photographs of terrain models showing locations within the European, African, and Asian theaters of operation.
Karl Bender World War II German military intelligence map collection.
Collection of maps used by the German army and airforce during World War II to plan military operations in Russia, Norway, and other locations. Includes aerial photography. The collection also contains one postwar map showing occupation zones in West Germany and a map set of Asia created before World War I.
World War II military intelligence map collection: declassified maps and reports from the American, British, and German militaries
Compiled by the National Imagery and Mapping Agency, the collection consists of 21,231 maps, charts, photographs, photo-maps, diagrams, illustrations, and supporting documents organized into 281 reports/containers. The materials were used by the Americans, British, and Germans to plan military operations during World War II. All items are desclassified. The folders/containers are housed in nine banker's boxes.

The map collection was amassed by General Tasker Howard Bliss (1853-1930) during his World War I military service and then as a U.S. representative to the Paris Peace Conference of 1919.

Robert S. Bond World War II map collection.
Robert Shirly Bond was a forward artillery observer for the 6th Armored Division during World War II. Bond’s unit helped to liberate France and participated in the Battle of the Bulge and the invasion of Germany. The collection consists of road maps used during the war, a commemorative map illustrating the 6th Armored Division’s role in the war, and a map from the Korean War.

Paul Bowles Moroccan Music Collection
An ethnographic field collection of sound recordings, photographs, and accompanying documentation of Moroccan folk, popular, and art music. The collection includes recordings Paul Bowles made in 1959 during a four-month field project sponsored by the Library of Congress with a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation as well as additional field recordings that he and Christopher Wanklyn made between 1960 and 1962.
Wallace R. Brode map collection.
Collection of 6 maps from the Wallace R. Brode Papers. The materials include maps of the 1936 Russian solar eclipse, a World War II bombing map of the Leuna works in Germany, tourist maps of Yugoslavia and Russia, and a U.S. State Department map showing areas restricted to travel by Soviet citizens.
The Charles Lee Burwell Collection of Materials Related to World War II
The Charles Lee Burwell Collection consists of one model, consisting of rubber on foam backing, prepared for "Operation Overlord," the Allied invasion of Utah Beach, Normandy, France; and an operational plan, maps, aerial photography, and photographs assembled by Burwell in preparation for "Operation Anvil," an amphibious landing of Allied troops on the southern coast of France in August 1944.

Carl Chance Korean War map and papers collection.
Carl Chance was a lieutenant in the 180th Infantry Regiment in the Korean War. The map and collection illustrate the regiment's engagement with Chinese forces on July 13-14, 1953.

Collection of 19 maps or photomaps of Italy during World War II. Photomaps are planning materials from Operation Avalanche. Maps are from various series published by the British War Office, United States Army Map Service, and the United States Joint Army Navy Intelligence Section.
Robert Clift World War II map and papers collection.
Robert Clift served as a navigator in the 492nd Bomb Group during World War II. The second lieutentant flew on missions from February 22 to April 26 in Europe. He took part in hazardous, low-level insertion missions of Allied agents behind enemy lines. His unit received a citation from the War Department in 1947. The collection consists of a map that illustrates sixteen missions and copies of photos and official military documents.

Copeland railroad survey collection
H.H. Copeland and Son commissioned the materials that contain information about railroads in the United States from 1917 to 1958. The collection includes maps and data concerning railroad traffic density, tables on ton miles, freight density and traffic distribution, and other railway related tables and calculations. H. H. Copeland and Son were an investment house in existence from the late nineteenth century to around the mid 1950s. The materials were intended for their private use.

The collection includes maps from disbound atlases of China published in 1893 and 1895, maps from a disbound atlas of Ohio geology published in 1879, and various other maps, such as a USGS map of Washington, DC and a newspaper map of the Panama Canal.

The collection consists of maps related to Morton L. Deyo's role as a naval task force commander during World War II. Six of the maps depict amphibious landing intelligence in southern France. Two maps show operations in the Pacific.
